Aromatherapy is a complimentary therapy that uses the natural oils produced from flowers, bark, stems, leaves and roots of plants to promote health and wellbeing.
Essential oils have been used for nearly 6,000 years, with the aim of improving our psychological and physical wellbeing. The National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) defines aromatherapy as “the therapeutic application or the medicinal use of aromatic substances (essential oils) for holistic healing.”

The session will commence with a health and lifestyle consultation to identify any areas that may need particular attention and to also identify any contraindications.
You will then be asked to lay down on the massage table and I will prepare warm essential oils to then massage into the skin. Aromatherapy massages are designed to be relaxing using gentle pressure over the body to induce a state of calm and wellbeing. At the end of the session I will advise you on any post session applications that I feel would be appropriate to address your needs e.g. pulse point oils, blended oils for bathing or steam inhalation.
